Early in production, I was given ownership of Star Child's SkullBreaker Shotgun. I was responsible for creating the high poly model, low poly model, materials and textures. During the proxy/blockout phase, I took the initiative to solve how the shells would feed into the drum mechanism and exit the chamber, and together with the animation department, we solved many challenges with the drum design. Another aspect that was especially tricky for this weapon in particular, was maintaining the First Person composition from the original concept. I had to solve a lot of unknowns, camera FOV and 2D design to work in 3D space. I enjoyed the process and after a few iterations and bouncing ideas between concept, animation and myself, I think we ended up with a fresh shotgun design that I am really proud of.

Thanks to all who supported Concord, I had a blast making weapons and props for the project. The artists at Firewalk are extremely talented and I am truly proud to be apart of it. Enjoy!!
